We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our Healthcareteam at HMP Bullingdon name, a category B Prison located in Oxfordshire.

HMP Bullingdon is a male prison with a capacity for 1100 adult males We are recruiting for a Stock Controller to join the Healthcare Team and support with taking control of stock, ordering, taking deliveries and budgeting.

Hours

Monday - Friday 

0730 - 1530 

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £27,582 per annum FTE - depending on experience. (Refer to national salary template. Add FTE if a part-time role)

Main duties of the job

As a Stock Controller, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Provide support to the healthcare team to ensure stock levels are kept to appropriate levels for service requirements within the primary care departments and that all medical equipment is in good working order and within service dates.
  • Sourcing specialist items for individual patients to support them with their care whilst in the establishment.
  • Deliver all required medical supplies and equipment to ensure the clinical staff are able to provide excellent primary care to patients within a prison setting.
  • Inspire clinical staff to maintain appropriate stock and levels within their working area to support patients, which in turn inspires the patients to manage their care.
  • Promote appropriate use of stock to ensure no waste or stock becoming out of date. Working with the Regional Primary Care Lead to ensure approved items are being ordered and used
