Job summary

You will be based in Livingstone Hospital, Dartford, North Kent as part of our community nursing team who provide care to people in their own homes or within a clinic setting. We empower our staff to work autonomously and with flexibility by providing them with state of the art new tablets for them to be able to check in from home, write their notes up on the go and allow them to not be trapped in an office base, so they can really enjoy working in their chosen community background! Located just off the M25, there are great access points and just a short distance from Bluewater Shopping and Leisure Centre, you'll be able to take advantage of the ample coffee shops and food places nearby. As this is a community based role you will need to have a UK driving licence and access to a car.Main Responsibilities: Working closely with our Community Nursing Team, as a Healthcare Assistant you will support and assist the senior team members to provide care to people in their own homes or within a clinic setting for a wide range of conditions including diabetes, wound and end of life care.

In this role, you will need to be able to travel across the patch in a timely manner so a UK driving license is needed and access to a car.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
