ABOUT THE ROLE As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members. Main duties of the job

As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to help us deliver quality, person-centered care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, including training, supervisions, and delegating duties on shift. Additional responsibilities include supporting with administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members. The role requires you to respect the dignity and preferences of our residents, while contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment. The successful candidate should have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, experience in a residential care setting, and proven team leadership skills, along with the ability to make decisions to support the well-being and needs of our residents.
