ABOUT THE ROLE As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. You'll turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. That could mean fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting some new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. We'll also need you to liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team. Main duties of the job

A hands-on experience in property maintenance with at least one trade skill is required, and the candidate should prioritize the residents' wellbeing when performing tasks. The role demands flexibility in working hours, a full UK driving license, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
