Job summary
The Continuing Healthcare Team are
looking for a Senior Personal Health Budgets (PHB) Administrator to provide
effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the delivery of
PHBs for the Continuing Healthcare Team.
Main duties of the job
There will be an expectation for
the post holder to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent
organisational skills. The post holder will need to meet deadlines, collate
data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes and data
quality. The post holder will be expected to provide accurate and effective
communications within and outside of the CHC service, dealing professionally
and discreetly with enquiries from patients, relatives, carers, legal
representatives, health and adult social care professional colleagues and other
organisations and be able to lead a small team.
The
successful candidate will act as the lead administrator for the PHB &
Personalised Commissioning Team supporting the delivery Personal Health Budgets
across Gloucestershire area, providing comprehensive support to the team with
all processes relating to Caretrack including the plotting of care packages,
PHBs, recording of changes to these and monitoring of the information within
Caretrack.
The post will involve some office based and home working.

- Educated to NVQ 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience subject.
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word & Excel.
- Understanding of Data Protection legislation.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of NHS systems, including SystmOne, Caretrack & Oracle.
- Experience of working in a finance discipline.
- Awareness of a range of Health Service provisions.
