Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-functioning and collaborative team within NHS South East London ICB, providing cover during a nine (9) month career break. We are seeking an experienced Programme Lead for planning and effective management of a programme team and service providers to support delivery of key LDA Programme functions.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be self-motivated and have an experience of programme management, service development and operations within healthcare delivery, assurance and performance.
Experience of effective communication and relationship with a range of stakeholders and the ability to negotiate. Experience of developing and supporting the implementation of Learning Disability & Autism Programme or similar programme in healthcare is essential, given the current strategic plans and priorities of the programme. The ideal applicant will have a track record of effective engagement with multi-disciplinary clinicians, local authorities, stakeholders, voluntary care sector partners and patients both within the ICB and externally.
Experience of managing financial and physical resources including budget setting and modelling will be helpful. The role involves staff management and strong leadership skills.
The post holder will be well supported by the Associate Director who line manages the role and have peer support from the Lead Clinical Manager and overall, a friendly and supportive LDA programme team.
This is fixed term role that can also be done as a secondment, ending 31 December 2025.
