Main duties of the job
The Operational Resilience and Support Services Directorate provide centralised support to the Clinical Operating Divisions for a range of services.
The Division encompasses the following services:
- medical devices
- incident response and management
- CQC compliance
- staff and patient transport
- interpreting services
- personal protective equipment (PPE) and logistics.
The aim of the Directorate is to ensure a high quality and consistent provision of non-clinical services across the trust.
The purpose of this role is to support the Trust's adherence to legislation, regulation, and guidance in the management of medical devices.

The post holder will be responsible for:
- ensuring external maintenance providers are deliver their contractual obligations according to pre defined Key Performance Indicators
- working with procurement teams, the Medical Devices Team and services to identify appropriate devices; ensuring the appropriate due diligence requirements are undertaken
- the project management of service mobilisations from a medical device perspective
- managing the procurement of new medical devices from revenue and capital spend, using appropriate financial systems
- supporting the organisation in the management of relevant safety alerts
