The Perinatal Community Mental Health Team has an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team

Maternal mental health is a life-saving, crucial and growing area of practice. Bringing together some of the most passionate and skilled healthprofessionals in the NHS. 10% of women develop a mental health problem during pregnancy or within the immediate period after the birth of theirbaby and untreated can have a devastating impact on the women affected and their families. In the UK, mental health in pregnant and post-natalwomen has previously often gone unrecognised, undiagnosed and untreated.

Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust's Specialist perinatal mental health service work is a multidisciplinary team that is meeting thespecific needs of ante and post-natal women with a high quality multi-disciplinary service and linking with the full range of health and social careprofessionals including GPs, health visitors and midwives as well as gynaecology, obstetrics etc.

Main duties of the job

You are required to be a driver with access to a car that can be used for business purposes. An ability to demonstrate the Trust's vision and valuesin practice is beneficial.
