Here at Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust, we are a small team of specialist nurses who are passionate about high quality patient care within the field of ears, nose and throat. We are now welcoming applications for this position for Senior nurses with experience in the field of ENT/Aural care.
Working across the different sites within the Trust and collaborating with health services within the surrounding demographic this role offers a varied workload and supportive practices to enhance positive health outcomes for our local population of adults and young people.
Main duties of the job
Deliver an effective high quality Aural care nursing service to include the management of an identified caseload, exercising a degree of personal and professional autonomy.
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management, quality and delivery of their nurse led aural care service alongside the other Band 7 specialist nurses with support from the Matron and Lead Nurse when required.
The post holder will be responsible for working within the Multidisciplinary Team to empower staff to provide excellent standards of patient centred care on an Aural care/ENT pathway.
The post holder will review and implement improvements to ensure that all patients are supported on a seamless programme.
The post holder will expedite and facilitate patient centred care for ENT patients under the aural care programme
Critically evaluate current practice using Care Quality Indicators as agreed with specific SDU leads and the Multi-Disciplinary team.
