Your roles:

  • Lead the trainingof pharmacy assistants and pre-registration pharmacy technicians
  • Develop and expand the apprenticeship modelwithin the pharmacy workforce
  • Support the design and deliveryof post-registration pharmacy technician training
  • Contribute to dispensary and ward-based pharmacy servicesto ensure high-quality patient care
  • Assist in all aspects of workforce development, helping shape a skilled, confident, and future-ready pharmacy team

To be responsible for the delivery of E&T for Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Support Staff

To be responsible for delivery of the NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (in collaboration with relevant education providers)

To work with the Principal Pharmacy Technician - Education and Training to promote, deliver and evaluate a range of E&T opportunities for Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants across all sections of Pharmacy

To facilitate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Pharmacy Technicians.
