Job summary
Manage the day to day car park operations of across the Estate on a busy, acute,Healthcare premises.o Develop and implement the Car Parking policy and associated systems for both staff and the public, and monitor its effectiveness.o Provide specialist advice on car parking services to ensure they are developed in a way to be consistent with the Trust's strategic plans and future objectives. Including providing advice in the development of the estate.o Work with the Sustainability Team to ensure car parking is aligned to the Trusts Travel Plan.o Be the main point of contact for all car parking issues whether staff or patient and visitor.o Work with the council and other organisations on car parking strategy.
Main duties of the job
To manage all the car parks across the RUH Estate and any third-party providersassociated with the car park function.
To be responsible for the development and management of the Trust's car parking system and policy to ensure that we meet the agreed targets in the Trust's Travel Plan and any planning requirements. This includes being responsible for the design, development and monitoring of the staff and general car parking criteria database.
Contribute to and where appropriate take the lead on the measurements of the effectiveness of the Trust's car parking provision against relevant performance standards.Producing and contributing to action plans to continually improve standards for patientsand staff.
Responsible for exercising financial monitoring and control to ensure that the car parking services are provided within standard financial instructions.
Responsible for the staff parking permit portal
Responsible for responding to queries regarding parking from patients, visitors and staff.
