We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative physiotherapists who value team working.
Here at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals, our physiotherapists play a vital role in supporting patients to optimise their abilities through therapeutic interventions and empowering collaboration. Each in-patient specialism has a multi-disciplinary team made up of therapy support workers, occupational therapists, dieticians, speech and language therapists and physiotherapists. Our outpatient services are well supported with Clinical Specialists and APPs and are involved in multiple innovative areas of practice.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to enrol onto preceptorship program and to take part in 6-month rotations in the following specialities across the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital sites:
- Acute Stroke
- Acute Neurology
- Medical / Health Services for Elderly People
- Rapid Response
- ITU / Surgery
- Orthopaedics - trauma and elective
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients
- Pelvic Health Outpatients

Main duties of the job
Main duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own clinical caseload and supervise therapy support workers as appropriate. You will be supported by highly skilled and experienced Band 6 to Band 8 staff throughout each specialty. You will be joining a well established and supportive integrated Therapy team, who work closely with the multidisciplinary team.
It is a requirement for this post to participate in the 7 day physiotherapy service and bank holiday cover.
