Larch ward at Barnet Hospital is a 22 bedded ward, it is a fantastic area to work and develop your nursing skills, in relation to Acute medical condition. You will be able to experience caring of patient having delirium, dementia and behavioural issues.
We are a supportive and friendly team that works together to provide the best care we can for our patients and to develop our staff to be excellent nurses.
Ward is known as being very friendly and supportive and we enjoy our daily work.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the unsupervised assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of plans of care, ensuring high standards of evidence based care using a defined model of care in acute set up in medical ward
Undertake all nursing procedures in accordance with Trust policies and ensure that these procedures and policies are understood and adhered to by all staff, within own management responsibility.
