Main duties of the job
1. To help ensure that a high quality, safely run scintigraphy service is maintained and consistent with the needs of the service.
2. To carry out imaging investigations on the full range of patients referred to the NAC, taking personal responsibility for all technical aspects including SPECT/CT acquisitions.
3. To follow measures for maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines and protocols.
4. Dealing with patients/carers and other healthcare professionals in regards to the booking, planning and carrying out of procedures in a clear and reassuring manner.
5. To be designated by the Trust as an operator under the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations. (IR(ME)R)
