Job responsibilities

• Performing any necessary administrative work-related technical duties.
• Assist in pacemaker implantation and provide subsequent reprogramming, troubleshooting and follow up clinics.
• Perform ECGs, Event recordings, 24hr ECG ambulatory monitoring and BP monitoring.
• To inform cardiology manager of any deficiencies in stock levels i.e. consumables.General duties including preparation of results, general maintenance and daily calibration of equipment, adherence to Health & Safety Regulations

• Basic Life Support and Fire Training are mandatory.
• Participate in the Cardiology Department meetings.
• The post holder will treat all patients with respect and understanding and do all within his/her power to ensure the comfort and happiness, as far as possible, of all patients attending the department or being seen on the wards.
• Whilst a broad outline of responsibilities has been included above, this should not be seen as reflecting the whole of the requirements within the definition of this post.
