Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Manager to join our Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre, supporting 'The Red Cell Network' in delivering high-quality data across NHS Trusts in London, the South of England, and East Anglia. This role is vital in coordinating and managing data for patients with haemoglobinopathies, such as sickle cell disorder and thalassemia, and will involve close collaboration with data managers, clinicians, and nursing staff across multiple locations.The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a keen attention to detail. Your role will involve gathering, collating, and managing data from various Trusts to ensure accurate and consistent records, supporting our commitment to excellent patient care. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and have the skills to present complex data clearly and professionally.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

o Collecting and managing data across Trusts within The Red Cell Network.o Collaborating with healthcare professionals to standardise data processes.o Ensuring data accuracy and presenting findings in clear, meaningful formats.
