Job summary
Position available for a Charge Nurse to Join Burns OPD and Outreach on a part time basis.
Candidate must have a UK driving license and a car to use for work purposes, be willing and able to drive BOB the Burns, have burns experience and a good working knowledge of IT systems and staff management.
Main duties of the job
The burns outpatient and outreach department is a regional unit specialising in holistic burns care and dressings both in the hospital and other hospitals, homes and places of care. As a junior sister/charge nurse you would be responsible for organising and delivering burns care, managing workloads, teaching and managing staff. The role largely involves doing lots of dressings.
The region covers the whole of the East of England and some of london and part of the role would involve driving a 7.5m long bus called BOB, he is our mobile clinic that we drive to 3 different sites across the region to deliver specialist care closer to home.
