Job summary
We currently have a full time position for a Digital Integration Engineer to be a part of the digital transformation programme. We have a large scale transformation program consolidating our three hospital sites in to one, with the consolidation of our acute clinical system and working with new integration within the wider health care community.The main role is to deliver integration of the clinical systems through our Trust Integration Engine, Lyniate Rhapsody.
The team consists of 4 integration skill levels, an Integration Architect , Integration Engineer, Integration Analyst and and Integration Developer that you will work with directly as well as a small team of software developers. The team is made up of male and female members, and all age ranges and mixed ethnic backgrounds.
As a senior member of the team you will be expected to support and mentor junior members. You nust have excellent oral and written English and have a good telephone manner and must be able to prioritise, maintain own workload, be proactive and have the ability to work unsupervised.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a skilled, motivated and highly organised individual for this role. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required at all times.
Supporting and delivering as a senior engineer the consolidation and migration of existing and new integration solutions to a data centre and hybrid cloud solution.
The post involves the development, maintenance and support of the interfaces associated with these clinical applications and working with the incumbent integration team members during this process.
Analyse, capture and document user and business requirements, in both a technical and non-technical format for clinical and digital services consumers.
Knowledge of HL7 and integration support within an NHS setting is a key requirement though further localised support will be provided.
