Job summary

We are seeking a Band 3 Homecare & Business Support Officer on a bank contract for approximately 12 months. The role will involve 22 hours per week, spread over 4 days.

Main duties of the job

This is an office-based position, primarily focused on processing homecare prescriptions, as well as managing homecare and procurement invoices.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes at Grade C or above, to include Maths and English.

Desirable

  • NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy or other relevant field

Knowledge

Essential

  • Use of windows based programs such as Word & Excel.
  • Office / Admin experience - to be pro-active and be able to deal with confidential or sensitive information in an appropriate manner.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of receipting process and materials management - including stock control, delivery, ordering, invoicing. Customer care through NVQ level 3/Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPs) foundation stage or equivalent experience.
  • Hospital based procurement or invoicing experience.
  • Use of computer based procurement or invoicing experience.
  • Pharmacy I.T systems.
  • Meeting preparation, writing and circulation of minutes.
