Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 staff nurse to join our team at Clifton ward 2B. We are looking at someone who wants to inject the fun back into nursing by developing patient rehab goals and plans by promoting independent living and care.

Job Purpose:

  • To work as a registered nurse within a ward team within the Unscheduled Care Division.
  • To prioritise and deliver nursing care and assessment as needed.
  • To demonstrate high standards of care and set examples of best practise within the delivery of patient care.
  • To liaise with other departments and staff to ensure that patient care is delivered.
  • To ensure patients' safety, privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
  • To support the nurse in charge of the ward and liaise with other departments and professionals to ensure that the needs of the ward are met.
  • Following appropriate development to take charge of the ward and oversee patient admissions and transfers and the care delivered by other staff.
  • To undertake such duties as from time to time determined by the Unit Manager and/or Head Nurse.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for Staff Nurses to join our friendly and caring hospital team here at Clifton Hospital.

We are currently looking to recruit a number of permanent Band 5 Registered Nurses (full and part-time hours considered)to work as part of our motivated and supportive team here at Clifton Hospital.

Clifton Hospital is a nurse and therapy rehabilitation unit on the Fylde Coast in-between St Anne's and Lytham. We are passionate about going the extra mile for our patients and as a team we ensure the patient is at the centre of all we do.

The teams here at Clifton Hospital work in a Multidisciplinary way with input from dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists as well as the Hospital Discharge Team on site. This means weensure that our patient care is delivered safely, effectively and compassionately with the patient at the centre of what we do.

Anyone interested in joining our team must display an enthusiastic and dynamic approach in caring for our patients. As a permanent fixture in our team you must be adaptable and willing to learn and develop within the role. This is a fully rotational post.
