Job summary

Band 5 Staff Nurse-Rowley Regis Hospital

Rowley Regis hospital is a community hospital working alongside multidoscliplary team to deliver Intermediate Care and also provide Medically optimised patients with discharge planning and safe discharges post an acute stay in hospital. .

Community experience is preferable but not essential as all training will be provided by Rowley Regis Team

Main duties of the job

-Suitable for Newly qualified Band 5 nurses and experienced Nurses.

-To participate in clinical supervision.

-To assist in the on-going assessment of users in order to determine theirindividual needs/requirements based on a model of care.

-To demonstrate, teach and advise users and carers on self-care, safety andpromotion of good health by utilising all opportunities for health promotion andeducation.

-To report and, where necessary, initiate emergency action with regard tochanges in users condition or behavior.

-To maintain active NMC registration and follows NMC professionalguidelines/registration.

-To demonstrate a consistent high standard of care in infection control andprevention
