Job summary
37.5 hours per week - vacancies available across all our inpatient ward areas including Wakefield and Doncaster.

You will be required to attend Pre Assessment ID verification in person with your original ID on the 24th or 25th November.
The assessment centre will be the 29th November- this will be the only date.

Were seeking experienced Clinical Support Workers with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care to join our forensic inpatient service. Youll work across the forensic pathway as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, supporting recovery-focused approaches and ensuring our service users receive compassionate, person-centred care from admission through to transition back to their local communities. You will be required to conduct local induction for forensic services.
Main duties of the job
You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our service users. You will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Supporting patients with mobility and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Helping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Have a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Kind and caring with a patient centred approach to success in your work.

Visa sponsorship under the Health and Care Worker visa route can only be considered if the prorated salary meets the minimum threshold of £25,000, as required by the UK Visas and Immigration. For Band 3 roles, only full-time positions at the top of the pay scale meet this threshold. Candidates will only be considered if they have two years recognisable service experience. Therefore, sponsorship may not be possible depending on salary increment placement and working hours.
