Job summary
We have an opportunity for a pharmacist with experience of working in a clinical setting to join our team of rotational specialist pharmacists. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about providing best patient care, and will rotate through specialties including intensive care, cancer services, respiratory medicine and elderly care.
Main duties of the job
Working as a part of the pharmacy team, you will provide a clinical service in the relevant area. This will include Medicines Reconciliation on admission, prescription review and optimisation, planning and processing prescriptions for discharge.
You will contribute to the pharmacy on-call, late night and weekend rotas.
You will be able to further develop your leadership skills in supporting foundation level and trainee pharmacists in their training. You will also have opportunity to work with Advanced Clinical Pharmacists in service development and review.
