Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Fellow in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Mid Yorkshire Teaching Trust (MYTT) on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This post will participate in the cross site senior trainee General Medicine Registrar On-Call rota. Applicants will have the same educational opportunities as other trainees and have protected SDT timetabled. These posts are not recognised UK training posts. However, the post-holders will have a named supervisor, and be supported in undertaking scheduled educational opportunities within the Trust and specialties. Main duties of the job
To meet the requirements of this role, applicants must demonstrate the following essential criteria: Currently holds full GMC Registration with licence to practise OR is eligible for the same and obtained this prior to commencement MBBS or equivalent medical qualification Either of the following: MRCP(UK) full diploma by the published deadline Eligibility for the specialist register in general internal medicine by time of application Completion of Irish Basic Specialty Training in medicine and the MRCPI full diploma by time of application ATLS, ALS, APLS or PALS certification Eligibility to work in the UK Have evidence of achievement of foundation competences from a UKFPO-affiliated foundation programme or equivalent, by time of application in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice Have evidence of achievement of Internal Medicine Stage 1 capabilities, for the round of application Demonstrates intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving.
