Job summary

We're looking for a Service Manager to join us to lead the delivery of Liaison and Diversion and Reconnect Services across Hampshire and the Isle Wight. You'll be joining a well-resourced, established service and you will be well supported by a fantastic senior team. You'll have responsibility for developing and shaping the services to deliver a joined up, cohesive and efficient service which provides high quality outcomes for all of its patients.

You'll need to be an enthusiastic, experienced and registered health or social care professional with a degree level or higher qualification in mental health nursing, occupational therapy or social work.You'll be leading and managing a multi professional team and acting as a clinical lead.

Although previous experience in criminal justice and offender health is desirable, we will consider candidates without this, who can demonstrate an interest in criminal justice and previous experience of leadership which supports the operational management of a portfolio of health and social care services.

You'll be primarily based in our office in Portsmouth and will sometimes travel to one our 11 sites in Hampshire. As the role progresses there will be opportunities to work from home.

Main duties of the job

About the Job

  • You will have responsibility and accountability for the overall operational management of health and Justice services in Hampshire and Isle of Wight
  • You will ensure there are consistent outcomes for individuals who are in contact with the criminal justice pathway with an identified vulnerability.
  • You will be responsible for achieving key performance indicators and service objectives.
  • This role will drive forward operational objectives to develop Berkshire Healthcare, Health & Justice service with an aim of becoming a flagship service locally and nationally.
