Job summary

We are looking for a project manager to welcome into our Transformation Team, working on a range projects on a 12 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident project manager who is looking to gain experience managing some of the Trust's most high profile transformation programmes, including: the development of neighbourhood mental health centres, the Inpatient Quality Transformation programme and the Future Workforce Solution programme.

Main duties of the job

This role sits in the Trust's Transformation Team; which manages a range of change projects and programmes that aim to improve service user and carer experience as well as to improve productivity across the Trust. They include service developments, pathway improvements, estate transformations, productivity projects, and culture change initiatives.

This role will manage large change projects from inception to completion. The post holder will ensure projects are delivered effectively and achieve the intended measurable impact and outcomes for service users, carers and staff.

  • Establishing strong project management approaches and governance that enable the project to be delivered on time and budget, as well as adapt to changes when required
  • Developing relationships and directly working with a range of stakeholders, including partners in the wider health system

  • First degree or equivalent experience
