Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Support Time and Recovery (STaR) Worker to join the Bank Bureau within Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, to work on a Bank Contract, based in Stevenage.
This will be working as part of a team which provides mental health services to those experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
You should hold a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of a team which provides mental health services to those experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
You will need to focus directly on the needs of service users, givingsupport to the care co-ordinator - in the hub and spoke model STaR workers have a specialist 'spoke' role and will be asked to focus specifically on either carer support, social care/housing/assertive engagement, physical healthusing the Support Time and Recovery (STaR) Model.
Work across service and/or care group boundaries as necessary.
Work closely in association with the Team Leader, other senior staff and other agencies, to help maximise the quality and quantity of STaR services within available resources.
Work within the Care Programme Approach / Care Management process with a focus on Recovery Principles.
Provide support, give time and thus promote recovery.
