We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate midwives to join our maternity service.
This advert is specifically for Band 6 Midwives who are post preceptorship and have clinical experience.
Band 6 Midwives:Youll work autonomously across Delivery
Suite, Antenatal, Triage, and Postnatal Wards, delivering safe, holistic,
evidence-based care. Youll role model best practice, support junior
colleagues, and promote high standards across our service. Youll also have
access to a dedicated retention midwife to support your ongoing development.
You'll join an approachable team that values personalised care, teamwork, and growth. Our commitment was reflected in our recent CQC inspection, where maternity services were rated Good.
Recruitment for this post will involve a two-phase interview process to select the most suitable candidate.
Main duties of the job
As a dedicated midwife, your main duties will revolve around providing safe, clinically effective and individualised care to women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy journey.
Working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, you will be involved in all areas of the maternity services.
By staying up to date with advancements in midwifery care and embracing evidence-based practices, you will contribute to the continuous improvements of our services.
