Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 administrator to be part of the East London Intensive Support Team. This is a new service which willprovide a 7 day a week urgent and intensive community response for people with Learning Disabilities with additional complex mental health needs and/or behaviours that services perceive to be challenging. The service operates across the inner east London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham and City and Hackney. The team will be based at our site at Mile End Hospital.The post is for 22.5 hours per week during office hours from Monday - Friday There can be some flexibility regarding the working pattern, however working on a Monday is part of the core requirement for the role.

Main duties of the job

The role includes providing administrative support to the Intensive Support Service, ensuring efficient and smooth running of the team. Responsibility for developing own administration systems for the team and providing day to day administrative support to the team. The post requires the ability to work on own initiative and to liaise effectively with a board range of professions and to maintain client confidentiality.
