This is an excellent opportunity to support our Trust's information governance function. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has significant experience in the world of NHS information governance, has sound technical experience, understands the information governance world and can bring expertise in information sharing, data security breach management, information asset management, information governance audit and information governance training.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Information Governance Manager who has an excellent understanding of NHS information governance and has successfully delivered on the many different areas of information governance. You will have expert information governance knowledge, be an effective communicator, a good team player and experienced manager.

- oEducated to degree level in a relevant subject or have equivalent experience
- oBCS qualification in data protection or AI or another information governance or security area

- oExperience of managing data security breaches
- oExperience of drafting and delivering information governance training to a wide range of individuals with differing levels of comprehension

- oExperience of managing information asset registers, especially where asset owners may have little understanding of their requirements
- oExperience of managing relationships with external suppliers and contractors
