Job summary

The Clinical Effectiveness and Regulatory Compliance department is seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated Clinical Guidelines and Compliance Officer to work within a small and friendly team. Primarily working at Tunbridge Wells Hospital; there will be the occasional requirement to work cross-site. This is a part-time position (22.5 hours per week).

This position is well suited to an organised and confident individual who is looking to advance their career in the NHS, and be part of a thriving and supportive team that works closely with clinical specialties and healthcare professionals at all levels to drive clinical effectiveness and promote quality improvements for patients.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills, dedication and the ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy. An understanding of the NHS is essential, plus proven experience of using Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. You will need to demonstrate the ability to manage your workload in a busy and dynamic environment. Key attributes for this post include being highly organised, reliable; have a keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Please note this role is currently only being advertised to staff members who are currently working within the Kent and Medway ICS.

Main duties of the job

To provide high quality administrative support services as required to the Clinical Effectiveness Department. The key dimensions include; uploading local guidelines to the InPhase Guidelines App, monitoring completion/compliance of digital checklists, monitoring, ordering and tracking of patient records and scanning of confidential records for electronic storage. In addition, contribute to the smooth running of the department with general administration work (photocopying, filing, ordering of stationary).
