Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for the post of a Housekeeper within the bronchoscopy Unit. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join this multi-disciplinary team. You will need good organisational, time management, interpersonal skills & have knowledge of managing healthcare related equipment and experience of working as a housekeeper in a care setting & undertake duties involving moving & handling, work under guidance and on your own initiative.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
Liaise with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
Order nonstock items ensuring stock levels are correct.
Ensure equipment is services regularly, liaising with Medical engineering.
Supervise unit assistant team ensuring a robust and effective service.
Integral in linking all hotel facilities together to ensure standards are maintained.
Support unit in fire warden duties and health and safety.
Escalate any concerns through appropriate channels.
