Job summary

Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Midwife with a special interest in infant feeding to lead our Infant Feeding Team at our Oxford Road site.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is expected to offer early interventions for families experiencing urgent or complex feeding challenges during the initial postnatal period.

You will be a specialist in your field, with extensive experience supporting families with infant feeding.

The post holder will work alongside an established team to offer support to the maternity team and families. You will collate data, and formulate associated action plans to support and improve care and service provision within infant feeding. You will be required to lead a programme of training to support the maternity team to maintain their knowledge regarding infant feeding. This training may be face to face or virtual.

There is an expectation within your role, to maintain your clinical skills to support the maternity wards as required.
