Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Single Point of Access team for the 0-19 Children and Families Division of Health Visiting and 5-19 Community Public Health Nursing Services.We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Single Point of Access Team which acts as the front door to wider services within Health Visiting and 5-19 Community Public Health Nursing Services. You will be working as part of a dynamic team who ensures that families, children and young people get the right support as quickly as possible.Initially working from one of our current bases across Hampshire whist premises for the new operation is confirmed centrally in Hampshire (likely to be in the Winchester Area) We have both Full Time and Part Time opportunities available.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide day to day co-ordination and administrative support in the Single Point of Assessment Service to respond to all queries into the service and expedite the front door access for all service users and stakeholders into the service. The successful candidate will act as a focal point for communication between the SPOA clinicians, Health Visiting and Public Health nursing teams, service users, children services departments and all other stakeholders.The successful applicant must be flexible with good interpersonal and administrative skills and good attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively. The ability to work flexibly and to prioritise work will be essential.
