Job summary
We are excited to advertise a full time, Band 7 Team Manager post in the Harrogate Getting more help Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team due to the current post holder retiring.
This post is within the friendly Harrogate CAMHS team, we are a small team of professionals who offer support to children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
The successful candidate will provide operational leadership for the team, and work in partnership with the local and wider clinical and operational leadership teams across the care group. The role will include but not exclude - the day to day leadership within the team, including supervision, monitoring of KPIs, talent management and service development.
The service offer ADHD assessment and intervention in addition to generic mental health assessment and intervention.
We are looking for someone with a Professional registration which would include one of the following - Nursing, Occupational therapy or Social worker. Ideally with at least 2 years band 6 or similar experience, including experience of leadership within a previous role.

- Current professional registration with appropriate body in healthcare or social work or relevant professional clinical qualification (ie PWP/CWP in IAPT/Getting Help services)
- Be Educated to Master's level in leadership or a subject area relevant to the area of practice OR
- Have equivalent clinical experience to that of masters level such as working as a band 6 (or above) in relevant clinical area with significant experience - which also includes significant experience of managing people (see below under experience), together with evidence of CPD
