Oral Medicine and Facial Pain (Dental Medicine)
Applications are invited for a substantive 8PA consultant post in Oral Medicine and Facial Pain at the Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals, part of the Specialist Hospitals Board of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job
The Oral Medicine & Facial Pain Service is part of the Dental Medicine Department and is responsible for the diagnosis and medical management of patients with a wide variety of disorders of the oral tissues, salivary glands and temporomandibular joints and associated tissues, referred by general medical and dental practitioners, consultants in other hospitals and other Eastman departments.
Successful applicants will join an established team, working closely with the Clinical Lead in providing a wide range of specialist care and training. Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills, be able to build effective working relationships at all levels, and also have experience in postgraduate teaching and training. An excellent working knowledge of infection control and health and safety issues is also required.
