Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, dynamic individual to join our Outpatient Reception Team at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear and Eastman Dental Division. We are seeking an enthusiastic and bright individual who enjoys patient contact and working in a busy, friendly multi-disciplinary team environment to support us in the delivery of a high-quality outpatient service.The post would involve working on the reception, checking-in patients and booking their follow-ups as well as providing support to the overall smooth running of day-to-day outpatient clinics. This is a fast-paced role with scope to develop your patient engagement and time management skills. There will also be shift-work involved in this role, and the successful candidate will work rotationally on the early shift (8:00-16:30), middle shift (8:45-17:15) or late shift (11:00-19:30). Essential

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, acquired through training and/or previous experience of working in an administrative environment.
