Job summary

This role is for a Quartermaster to work at Brent ambulance station providing first line supervision to the Make Ready team working Thursday to Saturday (3 days) 0700-1900. Ensuring the team attend work and deliver the required activity. This includes ensuring equipment and consumables are scanned, ordered and receipted utilising the ProCloud system. That pouches are packed in accordance with SOP and that all work is recorded and delivered to standard. This is a key foundation step in ensuring clinical staff are able to deliver patient care

Main duties of the job

Compliance to Health and Safety.

Delivery of fully equipped, clean and checked vehicles to clinical staff.

Working with VRC (vehicle resource centre), Logistics and Operational colleagues.

Adherence to all standards and policies including use of ProCloud and asset management system.

Ensuring team performance.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Current UK Driving Licence full manual driving licence (no more than 3 penalty points).
  • C1 Category on your license which is valid within the UK
  • Good Standard of Education - minimum of 3 GCSES ( or equivalent) at grade C to include English and Maths

Experience

Essential

  • Ability to build up good relationships with internal customers and staff at all levels and deal with staff issues in sensitive manner
  • Customer focused with proven customer care skill and positive and professional manner and attitude at all times
  • Ability to organise and train others

Desirable

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience on store management

Skills

  • Excellent command of Information Technology and proficient
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Desirable

  • Knowledge of COSHH
