Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit into a short-term Fixed Term contract a dedicated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to work in our Physiotherapy Service at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post will sit within one of Band 5 rotations across our acute inpatient services. You will be part of a large physiotherapy team that covers a wide variety of conditions across a number of clinical pathways.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate post graduate experience and clinical knowledge of the assessment and management of a variety of patients. They will be required to demonstrate an ability to work both as an autonomous practitioner, and as part of multidisciplinary teams for the best outcomes for our patients. Good communication skill is essential both with patients and our colleagues and respectful behaviours to all.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of this role are the assessment and treatment of a wide variety of patients in a variety of environments. You will carry your own caseload and be expected to time manage this alongside other commitments you may have. You will work closely with the wider physiotherapy team to manage complex conditions depending on your level of experience and understand the priorities of the service in the area you are working.
