Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and passionate Training and Adoption Lead to join our newly established Digital Patient Pathway Management (DPPM) team. This innovative team is dedicated to transforming patient care through the adoption of digital tools and processes, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care.

As the Training and Adoption Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring that these digital solutions are effectively adopted across the Trust, driving the cultural and operational changes necessary for success.

The post holder will be involved in the development, delivery and implementation of digital solutions to support Patient Pathway Management across the Trust. This includes interventional training identified through the learning cycle process, in addition to bespoke training needs identified with services.

The post-holder will also be involved in developing and maintaining a variety of digital learning resources and training structures and material available to staff.

The aim of this role is also to serve as a champion and subject matter expert in Digital Patient Pathway Management solutions, working with the Digital Patient Pathway Management team, EPR team and operational management teams to improve knowledge in, and the application of, patient pathway management policy, procedures and tools, and to advise on robust training solutions to digital solution and patient pathway changes.

Main duties of the job

- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programmes for Trust staff on digital patient pathway management tools and processes.

- Work with the Digital Change Manager towards development and implementation of an adoption strategy to maximise the uptake and effective use of digital tools, and to identify barriers to adoption and develop solutions to overcome them.

- Line management and provision of ongoing support and coaching to the DPPM training and adoption team to provide high standards of training on digital patient pathway management tools, with line management responsibilities for the training and adoption support team.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

-Experience in designing and delivering training programmes, preferably within a healthcare or digital transformation context.

- Strong understanding of digital tools and their application in healthcare settings, with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible training content.

-A proactive and solution-focused approach to overcoming barriers to adoption and ensuring successful implementation.

- Experience with NHS systems (such as Cerner) and an understanding of NHS structures and processes is highly desirable.

- Provide ongoing support and coaching to colleagues across the Trust to ensure they are confident and competent in using digital tools.
