Job summary
We are looking for a self-motivated, well organised and methodical Senior Clinical Trial Administrator to join the Sutton based Haemato-Oncology department.Ideally with previous clinical research experience and NHS experience, you will work within the guidelines and policies for the conduct of clinical trials, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with the principles of GCP.The post will involve trial administration to support a variety of haematological cancer trials across the wide-ranging academic and pharmaceutical clinical trials portfolio. The key element of this role is to assist with the retrieval, review and entry of clinical trials patient data and to design and implement tools/guidance for clinical trial data capture, with a particular focus on early phase/complex trial interventions. You will also be required to provide leadership support to the current clinical trial administrator team.You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including experienced medical and nursing staff, taking part in an exciting range of clinical trials.This advertisement will close when we have reached 50 applications. Main duties of the job
o To perform the role of a CTA including timely and accurate entry of data and relevant information into appropriate database systems.o To take the lead on complex and early phase studies with short data entry timelines.o To ensure standards of data collection by the clinical team are upheld.o To be an active member of the department, providing regular reports on data activity within the unit and highlighting areas of concern.o To provide leadership function within the current CTA staff group.
