Job summary

We are seeking a skilled, confident, and innovative individual to take up a part time , 12 Month fixed-term contract in a team created to provide an outstanding wellbeing experience for our employees.

Our Wellbeing Hub provides a one-stop shop for 'all things wellbeing'. It provides our employees with quick and easy access to an array of support including mental and emotional wellbeing, Trauma Risk Management (TRiM), as well as physiotherapy referrals. We can also signpost to several external services that offer support for a range of issues including addiction, finance, and relationships.

This is a varied role where you can be influential in making a real difference to the lives of others, creating a healthy workplace where everyone feels their health and wellbeing is supported. Currently, a mix of home and office work will be required.

Main duties of the job

Supporting the team, you will help ensure that we fulfil our duties to provide appropriate wellbeing services to meet the needs of employees. You will be responsible for providing efficient administrative support which will provide assessment and triage of employee referrals, with fast access to a wide range of wellbeing services and support. You will be involved in the management and development of a range of initiatives and communications.

You will be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, with a high level of organisational, interpersonal and admin skills. You will be committed to helping support and promote a high quality and sustainable service in an inclusive and supportive environment across the Trust. Innovative ideas and collaborative working will be prioritised to ensure improved health and wellbeing outcomes and experience for our employees.

  • Support the Wellbeing Team to deliver excellent engagement and communications to support full implementation of the Employee Wellbeing Strategy and make real the vision for SECAmb to become a healthy workplace where everyone feels their health and wellbeing is supported.
  • Administration of wellbeing initiatives, including the organisation of meetings and venues.
  • Communication of information and updates as required
  • First point of contact for employees accessing the Wellbeing Hub, providing professional, friendly, timely and effective triage and access onto appropriate pathway.
  • Provide administrative services for the Wellbeing Hub
  • Support staff in the Wellbeing Hub.
  • Responsible for Wellbeing administrative functions
  • Deals with a broad range of enquiries arising from employees and the Wellbeing team.
  • Supports Wellbeing projects and other ad hoc pieces ofwork as required
  • Management of Wellbeing Hub meetings and associateddocumentation.

DBS Requirement: A DBS check will be required for anyone new to the Trust or for internal employees who have not needed a DBS for their role previously. The check will be done prior to interview.

  • Secretarial/ administrative experience gained working as part of a team, using own initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Good keyboard skills, numerate and able to prepare and present statistical data clearly and accurately
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
  • Ability to take and produce notes
  • Experience of using and maintaining office systems
  • Ability to communicating with staff at all levels of an organisation and demonstrating appropriate level of tact or diplomacy
  • Experience of dealing with patients/ clients and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Demonstrate effective organisational ability over a wide range of tasks - filing, diary management, record keeping.
