This is your opportunity to make an impact as a Resourcing Manager overseeing all transactional recruitment activities for your dedicated directorates as well as pan-Trust recruitment projects, providing the best possible resourcing support to operational and clinical colleagues who make a huge difference to our patient's lives.

Reporting to the Head of Resourcing, you will be joining another Resourcing Manager (already in post) to engage and advise internal stakeholders on all aspects of recruitment and resourcing, lead and manage a dynamic team of Resourcing Advisors to deliver end to end recruitment within agreed KPIs and ensure a flawless candidate and hiring manager experience.

Main duties of the job

  • You will have an experienced background in successfully supporting recruitment delivery in the NHS or public sector and an ability to work with colleagues and managers with all levels of experience. With the capability to switch between the detail and the bigger picture, you will have an appetite to deliver positive results at pace, working as part of a team to achieve this when needed.
  • Ensure the Recruitment team provide an efficient and timely recruitment service to Trust Managers in accordance with Trust procedures, ensuring that practices comply with current legislation and Trust policies.
  • Contribute to GOSH's resourcing strategy to ensure that GOSH becomes an employer of choice.
  • Develop candidate attraction strategies to source difficult to fill roles.
  • Work with the Head of Resourcing to develop new recruitment drives for the effective recruitment of staff by attending conferences, job fairs and exhibitions. Design and implement an annual recruitment plan to ensure the directorate workforce plan is met.
  • Provide line management responsibility for Senior Resourcing Advisors and Recruitment Advisors and oversee their personal and professional development. Ensure that the agreed development plans are in place for all reports to ensure succession planning.
