Main Duties of the Job
HMP Ranby is a Category C adult male prison with a population of approximately 1,100 prisoners. The healthcare team delivers a fully integrated service including primary care, mental health, GP services, dentistry, podiatry, and optometry.
As Practice and Performance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the healthcare administration team and the overall management of the administrative function. You will play a key role in ensuring the prison meets its obligations in collecting and submitting performance indicators in line with national standards, including essential reporting for NHSE commissioning colleagues.
Your main duties will include:
- Team Leadership: Managing and supporting the healthcare administration team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensuring compliance with national performance indicators and quality standards through accurate data collection and reporting.
- Systems Management: Overseeing clinical systems such as SystmOne and associated software, ensuring optimal functionality and user support.
- Reporting and Analysis: Producing regular and ad hoc reports using SystmOne and other reporting tools, ensuring reports are automated and streamlined where possible.
- Information Support: Providing high-quality analytical support to the healthcare team, interpreting data to inform service improvements.
- Data Quality Assurance: Supporting validation processes and maintaining high data quality standards, escalating issues where necessary.
