Job summary

At HHFT we are always looking at developing new and innovative roles and if you have a passion for teaching and diabetes then this will be the perfect role for you.

You will need to have a sound knowledge base of diabetes and have the skills to apply your specialist diabetes knowledge to teaching colleagues, parents and children in the management of their care. To be able to do this effectively you will have outstanding communication and teaching skills and be able to engage your audience in what you are teaching.

In addition to this you will hold a caseload of children with diabetes and support them and their family in managing their condition

Main duties of the job
