Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arise to lead and manage the EPRR function, ensuring the organisation can respond effectively to emergencies and maintain essential services. This includes developing and implementing EPRR plans, training staff, and working with various stakeholders to enhance the organisation's resilience across our four hospitals and community services ensuring the organisation meets its legal requirements under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Trust compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and work with partner organisations to ensure effective business continuity planning and emergency preparedness, resilience and response.
- Acting as first point of contact within the Trust for National, Regional and Trust EPRR teams.
- Representing the Trust's interests at Local Resilience Forum Groups, and deputise for the Accountable Emergency Officer at regional and national meetings as appropriate.
- The communication strategy in relation to EPRR both internally (cascade tests) and externally.
- Operating as Deputy Chair at the Trust's EPRR Resilience Fora.
- EPRR training development and delivery.
