Job summary
The NCA are delighted to offer posts for midwives to join the NCA as a dedicated telephone triage midwife working as part of our friendly, supportive, maternity triage team.
Whilst this role will involve core duties there will be opportunities to rotate to other clinical areas to maintain clinical skills and confidence.
We are able to offer full and part time posts and would welcome applications from midwives who require a flexible approach to working.
Main duties of the job
Answer the telephone within maternity triage and using the BSOTS algorithm and your expert clinical midwifery knowledge provide women, birthing people and their families with advice, undertake risk assessments and refer appropriately.
Support the maternity triage team by completing some clinical administrative duties with opportunities to participate in audit.
