Job summary
Ward 33, based at King's Mill Hospital, is looking for an enthusiastic healthcare support worker who is passionate about providing outstanding and compassionate care to our elderly patients.
This busy Ward specializes in acute geriatrics and Parkinson's. It accommodates 24 patients with a mixture of bays and en-suite rooms.
The ward has a well-established and supportive medical and therapeutic team who strive to ensure individualized effective patient care is provided.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure outstanding patient care. This will be a challenging and exciting opportunity that will enable the individual to develop new and existing skills. It will involve a mixture of both day shifts and night shifts.
We have a very friendly, well-established nursing team who are dedicated to sharing their skills and knowledge with new and junior staff.
We offer an excellent clinical area with many possibilities for staff to progress professionally, and as a team, we regularly arrange ward events to celebrate achievements both professionally and personally.
