All staff within ISHS are required to have an up to date clear DBS as part of the Service Specification from the Commissioners. The DBS should be repeated every three years but under the Trust's DBS Policy, there is a requirement for staff to join the DBS Update Service, section 6 refers to the DBS Update Service and outlines this ensures that the DBS is maintained up to date each year.
