Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 5, Team Leader to join our Gastroenterology team. The post holder should have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be enthusiastic and committed to leading and supporting the administrative staff. Responsibilities include managing recruitment, addressing performance issues, monitoring waiting times, allocating work, and managing staff absences. The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the department. This includes leading the Gastroenterology administrative team by managing recruitment, overseeing appraisals and performance issues, handling absence management, and managing complaints. The successful candidate will act as an expert and role model for the administrative team, working closely with the Service Manager to ensure a positive working environment where every team member has the opportunity to contribute and develop.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the development and improvement of the Gastroenterology Team, striving to provide the very best care and experience to all patients, while continually enhancing the motivation and wellbeing of staff.
